The Source ....There is so much (free) software availbable for MVS 3.8
... So I selected a few of it and 'ported' (back) to MVS
3.8. I also added some modifications/new pieces. Unless
marked as *own*, as of current, all the original programs
can be found at http://www.cbttape.org (I used the old
CBT249 link to get these commands and utilities working
.... Note 2. some of the packages marked with "*own*" may be derived work from the CBT packages ... |
The packages: |
|
| INDX - (*own*) - a (poor) 'substitute' for
the SYSINDX function in CLISTs This little 'helper' CLIST acts as a substitute for the &sysindx function in modern CLIST. It finds the needle in a haystack and gives you the position as it's return code. | C3270 (*own*) - A new Version of the KOMM
command This is a new version of the KOMM command (CBT file 300). It contains an enhancement that makes it possible to use full screen input with multiple fields from a CLISTS. The difference is that C3270 translates the SBA orders (x'11') in input messages to a '|' that can be used in CLISTs. See the documentation for examples. May also be fixed with the job cbt300_fix.txt supplied here. |

| All add on packages contain the required source code and macros unless otherwise noted. The zip files contain the jobs needed to install the products. The jobs are numbered (01_xx.txt, 02_xx.txt) just execute them in the given order. For most TSO commands HELP members are installed into SYS1.HELP. | |
| The 'Download Documentation' links will give you a self contained HTML file - without the navigation and style elements of my website. Your browser will offer it as .htx file - in the hope that .htx is not associated to anything ... just save them as .html or .htm and your browser should be able to open them. | |
